Capt. Dave Parson is a Miami area guide who charters from a 34' Sea Vee open-fisherman – a great platform for all the types of light-tackle fishing South Florida has to offer. Capt. Dave specializes in deep dropping techniques and in making the crossing from Miami to the Bahamas – usually during the summer months when the weather permits.

Just 50 miles off the south Florida Coast lies the Bahamian Islands. Between the Bahamas and Florida flows a northerly current known as the Gulfstream. This warm river of saltwater fosters the proliferation of gamefish species on both coasts.

Capt. Dave Parson has been exploiting both sides of this river in the sea since his childhood. The south Florida/Miami metropolitan area is a testament to the vitality of the nutrient rich Gulfstream.
